"My name is Zion! I'm a chill little dude who loves to lay on the couch with you while watching TV.  My favorite spot in my foster home is on the back part of the couch, where the afternoon sun hits and warms my face.  My foster mom says I'm a good boy who sleeps through the night in my crate and likes to go outside to 'do my business', but enjoy going for a nice stroll around the neighborhood too.  I'm fine with the 2 cats here in my foster home, and tolerate the dogs here (I just don't love when they get in my face).  I like a low key environment, so I'd do best without little humans getting in my face too. I can't wait to have a home of my own to bask in the sun, snuggle with my humans, and live the best life ever!

p.s. did you know when you adopt through AFO you get FREE/discounted dog training through their partnership with GoodPup? Well when you adopt me you can continue my training and reinforce what I already know with expert help! How cool is that?!”*Remember - AFO DOES NOT HAVE ANY INFORMATION or guesses as to breed from dogs pulled out of under-serviced high volume intake shelters!
Why? Our pets are rescued from shelters in underserved communities. All of our dogs and cats deserve to feel loved and know they are wanted. Each pet in our care has their own story which defines their individual personality, behavior and needs. We provide proper veterinary care and offer a consistent routine to allow for any necessary behavior modification to happen in a healthy and positive way.
Demands for visual breed typing and/or size requirements are contributing to larger scale issues which are impacting the ability for pets and their families to stay together during life changes. Every single pet in our care are beautiful and discrimination towards color, sex, coat-type, size and/or species is an outdated archetype All Fur One is determined to have all our adopters rise above. With that, AFO has stopped participating in visual breed typing practices that are detrimental to our cause and therefore all veterinary records and pet profiles for dogs will reflect "Mix" as the breed.
