Tortola

This doggo is part of the "Travel Ban Lifted" Transport that arrived on July 15, 2021.  All dogs will be available for adoption on Saturday, July 24, 2021.  

Tortola is the happiest guy in the facility!  His big doofy smile explains his personality - he sees the best in everyone and everything.  He lives and breathes snacks!  This sweet guy is completely deaf but that doesn't stop him from living his best life!  The volunteers love him and he is an absolute favorite (shhh, don't tell the others!).  Our volunteers are working diligently to use "Watch Me" training, which is similar to ASL sign language to ensure he has a few tools to go home with him when he is adopted to ease the transition.  While we all over his super smile - there is nothing better than watching him sleep, he is a deep, deep sleeper and it's admirable to watch him be completely unphased in a sweet sleep!
